We are so excited to announce our K-8 Family Movie Night! On Saturday, October 14th we have the extreme honor of hosting Emmy Award-winning Dreamworks Director Simon J. Smith for our screening of the Dreamworks family favorite, The Penguins of Madagascar. Simon J. Smith directed The Penguins of Madagascar, Bee Movie, and has been involved with many other well known animated productions for both the silver screen and television. Before the screening, Simon J. Smith will briefly discuss the production process of making and directing animated films. Following the movie, he will host a Q&A for those interested. PAWS is so incredibly grateful to Simon J. Smith and his family for creating this unique opportunity for our Monforton students, families and community members.
A few details for your attendance:
- No cost admission, $5/family contribution suggested
- Door Prize drawing to follow movie
- Each attending family gets one complementary Door Prize ticket*
- Additional Door Prize tickets may be purchased for $5 each**
- Doors open at 5:30 pm, event begins at 6 pm
- Free popcorn
- Bring a water bottle
- Bring movie-watching-cozy items like blankets
- Bring your friends, family, all are welcome!
To help make this night a success, we just need a few volunteers for concessions (popcorn) and clean up (sweeping/mat roll up).

Monforton PAWS
*This PAWS Family Fun Night is a free event hosted by the Monforton PAWS organization. Each family attending gets one complementary entry into the “Door Prize” drawing. The drawing will be held at the end of the event. You must be present to win.
**Families may purchase additional “Door Prize” tickets for $5 per ticket. The cost of an additional “Door Prize” ticket is not deductible as a charitable contribution. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to funding PAWS programs, activities, and operations.
