The Monforton Moves “Move It!” Winter Activity Challenge is back for another year! Students and staff can participate by logging their physical activity in order to win some great rewards from local businesses.
A big thanks to Bozeman Hot Springs and Cottonwood Hills Golf Club for sponsoring our rewards.
The program aims to motivate everyone to stay active and healthy during the winter months. The program launches on Friday, February 21st, 205 and runs through Friday, April 18th. Participants will log each 10 minutes of physical activity that they complete outside of school hours.
Activities could include:
- Playing Outside
- X-Country Skiing
- Sledding
- Snowshoeing
- Shoveling Snow
- Swimming
- Biking
- Hiking/Walking/Running
- Walking to/from School
- Skiing/Snowboarding (active slope time only. Exclude ski lift time)
- After School Sports
- Ice Skating
- Yoga
- Zumba
- Crossfit/Weightlifting
- Martial Arts
The Challenge
Any students or staff that complete Goal 1 (21 hours) of the challenge, they will receive a swim pass courtesy of Bozeman Hot Springs!
For students that also complete Goal 2 (35 hours) of the challenge, they will receive a round of golf on the par 3 course, rental clubs, range token, and a snack courtesy of the Cottonwood Hills Golf Club!
