Fall Theater Club Starts NOW! (Calling all 2nd, 3rd, 4th Graders)
Hello Monforton!
Join us if you have an incoming 2/3/4th Grade Student!
Fill out the google form (linke at the bottom of the page) & SAVE THESE DATES!
Send your incoming 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grader(s) to participate in “Barnyard Adventures” where a group of Barnyard animals embark on an exciting adventure! Music, dancing, singing & a chance to be on stage! Everyone who participates will be in the play! (speaking parts will audition) Very important to make all of the practices since it’s a short practice window & you’ll have to commit to practicing lines at home. Dates/times are firm (but slight changes might occur).
Location: Elementary Bus Building Field (Green building off of the parking lot)
Cost: $100 (includes camp fee & payment for sound, props, costumes, etc) (contact Mrs. Axtman for scholarship/hardship requests) : Check (to Monforton School) or Cash accepted (No Venmo)
Auditions : August 18th 9am-12noon (in-person is preferred … video audition acceptable if necessary-contact Denise @ dlhartel@gmail.com for more information or questions)
Practices:
August Monday 21 – Friday 25 9am-12noon
August Monday 28, Tuesday 29, Wednesday 30 9am-12noon
August Thursday 31 (afterschool – 5pm) First Day of School!
September Friday 1, Tuesday 5, Wednesday 6, Thursday 7 Dress Rehearsal (afterschool – 5pm)
Performances:
Friday September 8th 2pm (school performance) & 7pm Community Performance
Saturday September 9th 2pm Community Performance
Weather permitting, we are hoping to host these outdoors in the elementary field (bring a lawn chair!). Alternate location: Middle School Gym
