Monforton School Foundation is happy to share that the following grant awards were approved this month:
Experiential Learning Awards
$548 to cover the cost of school buses for the fourth grade field trip to CrossCut for their winter ecology program where students will be venturing out on skis to learn about skeletal advantages of different body types (including humans) in the snow and winter environment. They will also be discussing animal tracks and patterns and how that relates to their locomotion and correlates with their skeletal types, and finally they will play a game to experience how different animals (waddlers, hoppers, bounders) move in the snow.
Major & Minor Grant Awards
There were no major or minor grant applications in January.
